ACTIVITY 8: DESCRIPTIONS

This activity is great to do at the beginning of the school year when students don't know each other very well. To begin with, students are asked to walk around the classroom. After a few seconds they are asked to stop and join the person closest to them. They will then have one minute to get information about that person. This can be real or fictitious. Students should then write the story of that person using the information given.
